The Oregon Legislature kicked off its 2023 session and we at Unite Oregon are gearing up to officially launch our legislative campaigns! Join us on Sunday, January 29, 2023, from 3-6:00 pm at the Oregon State Fair and Expo Center for our Legislative Launch, a day for Unite Oregon members and our allies from across the state to convene and hear a report back on the issues that we voted on at last year’s United for Action Summit and how to get involved in pushing for the policies that impact our communities during this year’s legislative session.

We will also host a special premiere screening of our short documentary film, “The Way Back to Normal,” The film retells the stories of families affected by the wildfires in the Rogue Valley in 2020 and who continue to feel the impact of the disaster on their lives today. The climate crisis continues to affect Oregonians every year, and this affects everything from housing, health, education, community safety, and economic stability. We know that every action taken towards undoing the harm on our communities and planet is a step towards an Oregon where everyone can thrive. The time is now to tackle these issues head-on. 

Join us to reflect and get activated on what we can do as Oregonians to tackle these issues and organize for a future where no one continues to be left behind. Dinner and drinks will be provided.
