Unite Oregon is driven by a compelling vision rooted in our unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and empowering marginalized communities throughout our state. Our mission is resolute: to serve as a potent force that bridges community divides, amplifying their voices within the decision-making spheres that shape their destinies.

Diversity fuels our organization, and its leadership includes individuals from Black, Indigenous, People of Color, immigrant, refugee, rural, and economically challenged backgrounds. We understand that true change comes from empowering those who intimately know the weight of oppression. By placing our members at the helm of program development and execution, we channel their enthusiasm to enact change on local and state levels.

Our recent achievements in the legislative session underscore this commitment. We collectively successfully advocated for crucial policies like Emergency Housing for All, Stable Homes for Oregon Families, and Community Resilience Hubs. These accomplishments embody our dedication to translating community voices into tangible, transformative actions.

At this year's Summit, we invite members to participate in discussions and interactive workshops, sharing their community's priorities! We’d love to see you in person on September 16th, or you can join us online via Zoom. Also, you can support our initiatives by enrolling in the Unite for the Future program and becoming a monthly supporter. Your generous contributions will play a pivotal role in addressing urgent community needs, nurturing the growth of emerging immigrant, refugee, and BIPOC leaders in Oregon through leadership development programs, and propelling innovative solutions for housing justice, climate justice, equitable economic advancement, healthcare parity, educational fairness, and reenvisioned public safety.
