“Dare to Invest in Learning to Lead”

Unite Oregon’s Washington County Chapter is proud to launch DILL 2025, a leadership training program empowering male-identifying individuals of African descent in Hillsboro, Aloha, and Beaverton. This introductory-level program is funded by the City of Hillsboro’s Community Engagement Capacity-Building Grants for Community-Based Organizations.

We believe those most affected by community challenges are best positioned to lead change. DILL offers interactive, participant-driven sessions using a popular education model to develop leadership skills and foster collective action in civic engagement, economic empowerment, and social justice.

Program Details:

  • Participants must commit to all sessions to graduate, receive a stipend, and earn certification. Any missed sessions require prior communication (no exceptions).

  • Those with prior civic engagement experience are encouraged to apply to build relationships and provide mentorship to newcomers.
