Hey! Are you looking to be more involved in your community? Well this is the perfect chance!

The Washington County Chapter of Unite Oregon is focusing on the issues that our members have prioritized for us, including raising wages for workers; continuing racial justice work like ending police profiling; fighting for justice and dignity for immigrants and refugees; addressing the affordable housing crisis, and focusing on holistic community health and wellness.

Other issues we work on include planning and land use issues, transportation access and affordability, economic justice for working women, environmental justice, and civic engagement. All of our work is approached through a racial justice lens and with a focus on developing the leaders of tomorrow as we build a powerful movement for justice.

Throughout all of our campaigns and issue work, we are continuing our focus on developing new organizers and community leaders, as well as continuing to take a visible leadership role in the community as an organization.

Programs within the Washington County Chapter include:

  • Washington County Leadership Cohort, our leadership development program organizes diverse community leaders in Washington County who are passionate about building a multi-racial, multicultural democracy inclusive of all.
